All the trims of the Compass are powered by a 2.4-liter Tigershark® MultiAir®2 Inline-four Cylinder engine that produces 177 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and the power is sent to the front wheels. While the engine remains the same, other components as the drivetrain and transmission are upgraded on the higher trims. Other than the base trims, all the other trims come with a four-wheel-drive system along with a nine-speed automatic transmission. This upgrade ensures a more refined driving experience.
Just like all the other Jeep vehicles, the Compass is also well-dressed with high-quality materials used all around. Base variants come with cloth upholstery and six-way manually-adjustable front seats while the higher trims benefit from vinyl-cloth upholstered seats, eight-way power-adjustable front seats. Additional features on the higher trim include heated & ventilated front seats, leather-wrapped shift knob, and leather-wrapped steering wheel, to name some of them. Six trims are on offer - Sport, Latitude, Latitude Lux, Trailhawk, Limited, and High Altitude.
The new Uconnect® 5 interface makes the infotainment system usage experience seamless. Features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth connectivity are standard on all trims. The higher trims are upgraded to a 10.1-inch touchscreen display.
With the Advance Safety Suite, safety is no issue with the 2022 Compass.
